Tualatin Celebrates Oregon Reads

The City of Tualatin, Oregon Official Website

In 2009 the Oregon Library Association asked Oregonians to read the same list of books in celebration of the Oregon Sesquicentennial. In 2014, OLA is going to do it again. This time the celebration will commemorate the centennial of Oregon’s most celebrated poet, William Stafford. Tualatin Public Library will be joining with many other organizations throughout the state in this centennial celebration. The goal is to once again involve 80,000 Oregonians in Oregon Reads 2014, in communities and on campuses throughout the state.

To participate simply read one of the highlighted works by William Stafford, enjoy and share.  To find out more ways to get involved in the state-wide conversation, visit the Oregon Read 2014 webpage.
