Friends of Tualatin Library has a new website: friendsoftualatinlibrary.org!

Learn about how the Friends support the Tualatin Public Library, how to become a Library Friend, volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and tips for making book and media donations for their book sales.

Friends of the Tualatin Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fund raises, and provides support for the Tualatin Library. We provide the community with opportunities to invest in the success of the library by donating funds or by donating time through volunteering. We raise money and we raise our voices to ensure a first-class public library for Tualatin.

Membership in the Friends of the Tualatin Library is open to all. Memberships start at $5 for Seniors. You should join us if you want to:

  • Support the library financially with your membership dues to the Friends.
  • Have opportunities to volunteer to help the library (not required).
  • Receive our newsletter with the latest news about the Friends.
  • Help our library to be the best it can be.
  • Expand your circle of Friends.

The Friends welcome donations of clean, undamaged books for our book sales. If you enjoyed reading them, we're sure other patrons will too. Funds raised through our ongoing, special and online sales support library programs, equipment and services.

You can help Friends of the Tualatin Library earn donations by shopping at your local Fred Meyer store. Fred Meyer is donating money to nonprofits based on customers who link their rewards card to their favorite nonprofit. This does not affect your personal rewards points; both accounts earn points. It’s a win-win for you and for the library.
