Tualatin Public Library volunteers

Tualatin Public Library welcomes your support!

Friends of the Tualatin Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fund raises, and provides support for the Tualatin Library. They offer select books for sale inside the library, big book sales at least twice a year, and books for sale online. Funds raised by the Friends are donated to the Library to enhance summer reading, books for babies, ESL classes and other library programs.

Tualatin Library Foundation was established to provide continued support for current Library services, materials, and technology as well as establishing a perpetual fund for ongoing support. The Foundation's board shares a vision of the library as an integral part of education, a center of community life, and a catalyst for economic development.

The Teen Library Committee coordinates and runs programs for teens and elementary aged children at the library. Members contribute their ideas for existing programs and help create new ones.

The Tualatin Library Advisory Committee, appointed by City Council, meets monthly to consult with and advise the Library Manager on all  matters affecting operational policies of the City library; make recommendations to the City Council with respect to services, facilities, and all other matters pertaining to the maintenance and improvement of the City Library; and hear and consider complaints about City Library policies or materials.

Donations: Tualatin Library and its supporting organizations appreciate your gifts. Please see our donations guidelines for more information.

Volunteers provide over 10,000 hours of service to the Library each year! As a library volunteer, you can take pride in knowing that you have contributed your unique talents and energy toward providing a richer quality of life for your community.
