2025 Tualatin Housing Forum

Tualatin Housing Forum Banner

We invite you to participate in the 2025 Tualatin Housing Forum. This community conversation will help us understand the challenges our community members face in finding housing, especially rental housing, that is affordable. Representatives from local service providers will also be present to share information on resources available to the community.

Under Oregon State Law, communities must hold a public meeting when more than a quarter of households’ experience “severe rent burden.” This burden occurs when households spend more than 50% of their income on rent and utilities. In 2024, 27.5% of Tualatin renters were severely rent burdened. Under these conditions, it becomes difficult for a household to budget for other necessary expenses including food and medical care.

When: December 17, 2025, 5:30-7:30pm

Where: Tualatin Service Center, 10699 SW Herman Road

Doors open at 5:30 for a resource fair with light refreshments provided by the City. The housing forum will run from 6:15 to 7:30 pm and members of the public will have an opportunity to speak to city staff and elected officials. Assistive listening devices (ALD), a sign language interpreter, and/or a bilingual interpreter services may be provided without cost, if requested at least 36 hours prior to the meeting by contacting planning@tualatin.gov.
