Multifamily (Apartments/Condos) - Trash and Recycling
Regional Service Standards
Collection/Pick Up - If you manage an apartment or multifamily community, you are required to provide service that meets or exceeds a minimum volume of service for garbage, recycling and glass (to be arranged with the City's hauler, Republic Services).
Labeled Containers - All containers must have labels that align with the color-coding below. By 2028, all containers must also be color-coded:
- Garbage: gray or black
- Recycling: blue
- Glass: orange
