October Mayor’s Note
We are pleased to announce that the City has once again allocated $50,000 to the Outside Agency Grant Program. This program provides financial support to charitable nonprofit agencies that align with the City Council’s 2030 Vision—fostering a connected, prosperous, equitable, and environmentally conscious community with a sustainable, diverse economy and vibrant gathering spaces.
By empowering organizations through these grants, the Council aims to build a stronger, more inclusive community where all residents can thrive.
This year, the City received 21 applications requesting a total of $100,873. Of these, 19 agencies will be awarded funding totaling $50,000. Each of these agencies will be given the opportunity to make a 10 minute presentation to the City Council to promote their program in the community.
