Volunteer Opportunities for Tualatin Youth
Volunteering over the summer is a great way to: meet new friends, boost your resume or college applications, learn new skills, discover your community and share your talents with the world. Best of all, it’s fun!
Summer library volunteers support Storytimes in the Parks, Science on the Plaza, Makerspace programs and our county-wide Summer Reading program. Learn how your library works while supporting all the programs that make our library unique. Ages 10 – 17.
TEAM Tualatin volunteers spend part of a week as a TEAM volunteer. Teams are comprised of 8-12 youth who meet weekly at Tualatin Community Park and other parks around the City. TEAM works with Park Maintenance and Public Works Crews. Tasks include watering and mulching plants, planting a garden, painting fire hydrants, washing city cars and trucks, taking care of parks, and helping in the community. Ages 12 – 18 welcome.
Solve problems - Grow confidence - Make a difference in the community!
