Earthwise Crew: Get to Know Western Bluebirds
Western Bluebirds are a native avian species in Oregon that is now listed as a “sensitive species.” Since the 1970s Prescott Bluebird Recovery Project volunteers have been working to support the bluebird population. Get ready to learn something new at the Tualatin Public Library’s new Makerspace!
The Tualatin Public Library Makerspace is offering a special session tailored specifically for JPC participants! This exciting opportunity will allow older adults to explore their creative side, learn new skills, and engage in hands-on projects within a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you're a seasoned maker or just looking to try something new, instructors will be on hand to help foster creativity, encourage discovery, and create lasting memories.
What is a Makerspace? A Makerspace is a place in which people with shared interests can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge. More specifically, the Tualatin Public Library Makerspace is a place to try out new tools, learn new techniques and share ideas with other makers in the Tualatin community. Anyone can learn to use the Makerspace - get started with us during specially reserved hours for Juanita Pohl Center participants.
Each session will cover the same topics. Please register for only one session. This program will take place at the Tualatin Public Library at 18878 SW Martinazzi Ave.
