Applications are closed for the 2023-2024 school year.

TLC is a teen group at the Tualatin Library that hosts events for teens, children, and families at the library.  They contribute their ideas for improvements to existing programs and help brainstorm ideas for new events each year.  TLC runs from September through August of each year.

TLC requires a significant time commitment.  TLC members are required to attend meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 4:45-5:45pm, volunteer at least 2 additional hours per month for event preparation and the events themselves.  During months without events, hours are still required for helping the library in other ways.  There are a limited number of spaces for this group and acceptance is not guaranteed. Teens entering 8th-10th grades will be considered. Summer Volunteers regardless of grade will also be considered.

Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of every month from 4:45-5:45pm.  Additional time will be needed for preparing and running events.  If you are in grades 8-10 and interested in making a difference in your community, consider applying for TLC in July! If you are a current Summer Volunteer and a junior, consider applying!
