Library Closure - FAQ
Tualatin Library was closed on Saturday-Sunday, February 8-9, and closed early on Thursday and Friday, February 6-7. How will this closure affect your items?
- I couldn't get in this weekend to return my items. Will I owe late fees? No, fines will not be charged for items that were due Thursday-Sunday. All items returned on Monday or Tuesday (February 10 or 11) will be treated as though they were returned on last Thursday. If you are not able to safely get to the library by Tuesday evening, please bring your items in sometime this week and speak to Account Services staff.
- One of my holds has gone to an "unclaimed" status. Will I lose my holds? We won't remove any items from our holds shelf until Wednesday. Library staff will take into account closed days when determining the date unclaimed holds are to be pulled.
