Holds Pickup

Appointments are no longer required to pick up holds. However, if you would like to pickup your holds in the lobby, we are still offering that service. Lobby service is available 11am-12pm or 3-4pm. 

Scheduling pickup appointments 

You can schedule your pickup appointment online at https://tualatinlib.skedda.com. Select any appointment spot that is not already in use (spots with times listed have been booked; blank spots are the available appointments), and click “Book” at the top of the page. 

Please wait until you receive the notification that your hold is available before scheduling your appointment.

You will receive two emails the first time you book online: one asking you to confirm your Skedda account, and one confirming your appointment. When you confirm your Skedda account, you will be able to view, change or cancel upcoming appointments, and making your next appointment will be quick and easy. 

For same-day assistance, please call us at 503-691-3074. 

You are also welcome to call us at 503-691-3074 to schedule your appointment. You will receive emails from Skedda after we book your appointment. For more information about Skedda, click here

Picking Up Your Holds

  • When your hold is available,  make an appointment online via Skedda or call the Library at 503-691-3074 to schedule a pickup appointment.
  • Please arrive within your 15-minute pickup window. 
  • Staff will checkout your items and place them on a table in the lobby. 
  • Grab your bag and enjoy! 

Placing Holds

  • You can place holds through the library catalog. Need help? Call us at 503-691-3074 or email us at librarymail@tualatin.gov
  • Not sure what you want? Our staff may be able to recommend items that suit your interests.
  • Items coming from other WCCLS libraries may take longer than usual to arrive.

 

How will I know that my holds are in?

You should receive a notification through our automated system using your preferred contact method (email, phone call, or text). You can also check your account to see if your hold is in.

What if I miss my appointment?

We will hold your items for 3 days after your missed appointment. Please call or email us to schedule a new appointment. Or, simply come in and ask for your holds. They will be at the Account Services desk.

How does Skedda work? 

Skedda is an online scheduling calendar that lets you make your own pickup appointments. After your first appointment booking, Skedda will ask you to confirm your appointment by setting a password. There is a “forgot password” link should you forget to set one, or forget what it is.  

After your Skedda account is confirmed, you can view, change or cancel your appointments. Skedda will not allow you to make or adjust same-day appointments; please call the Library at 503-691-3074 for same-day assistance.

You can click in any empty space on the calendar for pickup spots 1, 2 or 3 to start booking an appointment. Doubleclick in the space, or look for the word “Book” at the top of the page to start booking. 

Fill out the fields in the form. Please leave the Booking Title field blank. 

Skedda does not interact with our catalog system. Entering your library card helps library staff make sure they are collecting materials for the right patron. Skedda does not share your information with third parties; you are able to set up a login for Skedda using Facebook, Google, Twitter or Microsoft account credentials.
