Mayor's Note (April 2023)
Grab your pens and calendars and circle Wednesday, April 26, for this year's State of the City Address, titled Good Evening Tualatin. For the first time since 2019, the State of the City Address will be live and in-person. As a special bonus, we are hosting the event at our newly-completed Tualatin City Services building (10699 SW Herman Road). Come at 6pm for appetizers and conversation, and stay for the program at 7pm.
Council President Valerie Pratt and I will host the program and invite members of the City Council to share highlights from 2021 and 2022 related to our City Council Priorities: housing; transportation; diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice; environment; community assets; economic development; and crisis preparedness. We will also set the stage for what is coming up in the next few years and take questions from the audience.
If the food, conversation, and information do not capture your attention - we will also have exclusive City of Tualatin swag available for a few lucky attendees.
Many thanks to the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce, our co-hosts for the event. I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, April 26, for Good Evening Tualatin: 2023 State of the City Address.
