Tualatin Police Catch Serial Groper

On August 11, 2015 Tualatin Police officers were called to the area of Ibach Park, located at 10455 SW Ibach Road in Tualatin on a call of a male subject that was exposing himself to park patrons.

Tualatin Officers quickly made their way to the area, since the suspect description seemed to match the description of a male subject who has groped several women over the past few weeks in Tualatin.

Upon arrival in the area, officers found that when the male subject was confronted by people in the park, he ran away from the area. Officers began to search the area around the park, and with the help of witnesses who were at the park, located the male subject a short distance away.

Tualatin Officers immediately began to investigation the incident, and were able to take the male into custody for crimes that had occurred at the park.

Once in custody, officers began to question the male about several other incidents where women had been groped in Tualatin recently.  After speaking with the male, Tualatin Officers were able to attribute at least two of the unsolved cases to the same suspect.

The suspect, 22 year old Sean Luff, of Tualatin, was taken into custody on two counts of Sex Abuse in the third degree, Public Indecency, and Probation Violation.  Mr. Luff was transported and lodged in the Washington County Jail.  Photographs of the subject may be available through the Washington County Jail.

Tualatin Police believe that there may be victims who have not reported being groped.  The Tualatin Police encourage anyone who has been the victim of a crime to report it to the appropriate authorities.  Anyone who believes they can been a victim can contact Tualatin Police at 503-692-4800 or though the non-emergency dispatch line at 503-629-0111.
