Alcohol Suspected in Multiple Criminal Mischiefs and Rollover Crash

On Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at approximately 7:25pm, Tualatin Police Officers responded to four reports of criminal mischief involving two males in a white Subaru Outback, breaking car windows in the Southern area of Tualatin.

Tualatin officers did an area search for the suspect's vehicle. A short time later, a rollover crash involving the suspect's vehicle was reported by a passerby on SW Boones Ferry Road, in front of Tualatin Community Park, near the railroad tracks.

When officers arrived at the crash, they learned the vehicle was being operated by Mr. Trevor J. Wright, 2/22/94, of Keizer. Mr. Joseph F. Savala, 9/20/90, of Coquille was the passenger. Both Wright and Savala suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to OHSU. The roadway was blocked for a short time during the crash investigation, but has since been cleared.

It is suspected that alcohol was a factor in this crash. Mr. Wright is being charged with DUII, Reckless Driving, Third Degree Assault, and First Degree Criminal Mischief.
