Holiday Food Drive
In partnership with Tualatin Kiwanis, the Library is hosting a holiday food drive to benefit the Tualatin Food Pantry. Please bring donations of canned or non-perishable food items to the Library on your next visit. The barrels will be at the library until late December.
Tualatin Food Pantry’s current needs:
- Full sized personal care items (shampoo, toothpaste, etc.)
- Cold cereal
- Canned pasta & quick-prepared meals (like Spaghetti-Os or mac & cheese)
- Canned fruit
- Dry pet food
- Canned tuna fish
- Spaghetti sauce
To ensure food safety, the Tualatin School House Pantry cannot use:
- Rusty or unlabeled cans
- Perishable items
- Homemade food items
- Non-commercial canned or packaged items
- Alcoholic beverages, mixes or soda
- Open or partially used items
