Annual Comprehensive Financial Report - FY22

The City of Tualatin Finance Department produces an Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30th of every year. The Financial Statements are audited by an independent auditing firm in accordance with municipal audit law (Oregon Revised Statutes 297.405 through 297.555).  In addition to providing an opinion on the basic financial statements, an independent certified public accountant must provide reports on internal control structure, internal control over financial reporting, compliance with state and federal laws, and compliance with OMB (Office of Management and Budget) circular A-133 as applicable to major federally funded programs.  These reports are included within the City's Annual  Comprehensive Financial Report.

For thirty-one consecutive years, the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report has received the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.  The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
